India ink counters it with a metallic edge and the cool, sharp tang of a freshly filled pen. Brazilian pink pepper lifts the opening, keeping the two sides in tension rather than allowing either to overwhelm the other.
Somali frankincense draws a dry resinous line between them, while Madagascar vanilla adds weight and depth without turning the composition sweet. The vicuña accord arrives in the base with the soft warmth of undyed wool, grounding everything against the skin.
Six hours later, the truffle and ink remain locked together on the wrist, stark and unmistakable. Nothing softens the divide. The tension holds. Neither side wins.
