Somewhere south, late in August, you eat outdoors after midnight. Jasmine spills over the wall, black olives glisten on the table, and no one suggests going inside. The scent at your throat blends into the garden until the person beside you leans closer, searching for the flower blooming so late. There is no flower. It is you. Latex holds the sweetness in place, while hay follows you home.

Ugo Charron pushes Indian Sambac and Egyptian Grandiflorum jasmine into something darker and more physical. The white petals become almost rubbery, pulled tight by a latex accord that tightens, snaps back, and settles into black olive. Green olive cuts through the sweetness, leaving the composition salty, sharp, and slightly wild.

Turkish rose and carnation thicken the heart, while Grasse hay adds warmth underneath. Sandalwood carries the dry-down, and rum arrives last—dark, warm, and faintly dangerous.

By the end, the fragrance feels suspended between a greenhouse and a darkroom: warm glass in your hand, midnight air, and a night that refuses to resolve.
