Première Peau • Rose Monotone
Rose Monotone - Extrait de Parfum
Here’s a shorter, cleaner version that keeps the cold, precise, unsentimental rose concept:
Take it to the flower market before the city wakes, into the refrigerated hall where roses are graded under white light. Every stem is sleeved in plastic, and the air smells of cold water rather than perfume. On the skin, the rose feels precise and unsentimental—a specimen, not a bouquet. Then the lychee trails behind, clean and crisp.
Brazilian pink pepper gives the opening a cold bite, followed by a glassy cellophane accord. Peruvian ambrette adds a dry, cotton-like texture. Beneath the rose, chilled lychee keeps everything cool and controlled.
As it settles, Haitian vetiver and ambroxan add a thin, metallic edge. The rose never softens or warms. It stays sharp, immaculate, and distant—like a flower under fluorescent light.
