Sarah Baker • Flame and Fortune
Flame and Fortune - Eau de Parfum
A high-speed car chase through fields of flaming tuberose.
You’re at the wheel, engine growling, wind slick with heat and danger. The air is thick with the guilty pleasure of petrol and scorched orange liqueur—like crêpes Suzette set alight just for you. Flame-caramelized zest clings to your skin; the scent is wild, intoxicating. A gourmand hit of gunpowder follows as fire dances beneath a desert sky.
You drain the last drop of mezcal, fling the glass into the blaze, and don’t look back. The horizon is calling.

SARAH BAKER
Sarah Baker’s work explores the allure of luxury and glamour, both real and imagined. Following her 2014 soap-opera-style film Impirioso, she created Sixth Floor—a gallery show named after Harrods’ elite Salon de Parfums.
Fragrances became artworks, and the gallery transformed into a lavish scent boutique, playfully examining high-end fragrance culture.
