Dried fruits, warmed with nutmeg, bring a dark, juicy richness, sharpened by the salty bite of black olive. Then comes the stampede — deadwoods and smouldering resins tearing through the haze, leaving behind a trail of heat and dust.
As the sun goes down, everything melts into tobacco, dark molasses and black vanilla.

Sarah Baker’s work explores the allure of luxury and glamour, both real and imagined. Following her 2014 soap-opera-style film Impirioso, she created Sixth Floor—a gallery show named after Harrods’ elite Salon de Parfums.
Fragrances became artworks, and the gallery transformed into a lavish scent boutique, playfully examining high-end fragrance culture.
